We didn’t know that was so precious.
Thought we would have more amazing trips till year 2020.
However, this quarantine might turn out to be a special period for us to get preparing for a new life.

造纸 . Paper Making
我们今天用废纸打碎做了纸浆造纸，还加入了植物。最后做了几张卡片。
特别喜欢植物的味道，清爽安宁。每次看到那一棵棵大树，就会希望自己能变成其中一员，无论喜欢还是不喜欢，它们淡定的在那里，不走远也不靠近。
如果有下辈子，让我变成一棵树。

冰岛 . Iceland
我也不知道为什么我们那么喜欢反其道而行之。
我们在最冷的月份里拜访了世界上最冷的国家之一 — 冰岛。
零下的温度早在预期之内，但是暴风雪确在我们计划之外，我们被迫在酒店困了整整三天，虽然和极光无缘，但是却看到了月光石一般斑斓的彩霞。
冰岛所属的文化总是让我想到日本，但却更加冰冷克制和坚硬。
We visited one of the coldest countries at the coldest time of the year.
As we planned, the temperature is always below zero.
Out of our plan was we encountered snow storm. And has been trapped within hotel for three days.
Nordic culture, for some reasons reminds me of Japanese culture but in an ice-cold and harder way.
Oh, did I mentioned the opal light in the early morning? I felt blessed.
爱尔兰 . Ireland
爱尔兰是泊而最爱的国家之一。
据说，仙子来自这个国家，我们拜访了那里的仙女小路，在仙女井旁边许愿。爱尔兰常年青葱的土地，还有那些街道上爱聊天的人们，让人觉的非常温暖。
荒弃的古堡随处可见，摸着砖石会想到那个年代的人们倔强抗争。
谢谢J的父母对我们的热情款待。
期待再次相见。

We miss the stunning green in the winter and random chatty people on the pebble street. We made a wish beside the fairy well. We deep breathed in the fresh humid air on the top of the ancient castle. Best memories ever. Thank you for taking good care of us Evelyn and Tony.

惠斯勒和纳乃磨 . Whistler & Nanaimo
利用长周末，一次跑了两个地方，折返的开车路途似乎有些疲劳。
第一次知道海水冲刷岸边的小水洼会有这么一个完整迷你的小世界。
2019年是一个四处旅游的年份，我们努力工作，也拼命玩耍，和2020年的未知比起，这个年头让我疲惫却充实。
One weekend in September, we were on the road again.
I miss year 2019. It involved a lot of trips, long or short. Life was well organized that allowed us working hard and playing hard.
P.S. Tide pool is an amazing little world for water creatures.
洛杉矶 . Los Angelas
不知道为什么，洛杉矶这个名字总让我想到迷失的天使。这是另外一个典型的美国城市，巨大人力和金钱创造堆砌了一种文化，而这一切是为了获得更多的金钱。
我喜欢她四处是棕榈树的街道，会联想到当时创造这个城市的时候，是在怎样的雨林里砍伐拓展。
最爱的是三塔莫妮卡的海边，人间烟火和欢乐无非就是在说这里了。
另外就是那里距离市区并不那么远的大片农场，我的农夫梦总在这里一次次被唤醒。
希望阿利波特的魔法能保护洛杉矶的人们平安健康。
How are you Los Angelas! Hope everything going well. We miss your palm tree street, Santa Monica beach, the apricot lane farm. We miss the busy flying humming bird and ginger flower. We hope Harry Potter’s magic keep you and your people safe and sound. See you around !
马蹄湾 . Horseshoe Bay
另外一个周末出游，我们去了马蹄湾，从温哥华市区不到一小时车程。路上的美景超过目的地对我的吸引。
Another day trip.
One hour drive away from downtown Vancouver, horseshoe bay.
羊驼农场 . lama farm
利用周末去了羊驼农场。羊驼那天集体剪毛，和印象中的毛茸茸完全不一样。
其实这些不是真的驼羊，它们是驼羊的近亲，喜欢吐吐沫表达不满，和可以做宠物的驼羊比，它们更加像是一种可以被剪毛的经济作物。
It was a lama haircut day.
毛伊岛 . Maui
这是一个完全放松的旅行，我们开车一路环岛，在弯弯绕绕的山路间，时而见雨，时而见阳光，彩虹总是不期而遇。
这个岛屿很神奇，有海，热带雨林，城市和被火山光顾过的黑色礁石。途中遇到收养很多流浪猫的老妪，买了她售卖的糖渍生姜。
觉得似真似幻，来过这里。
Maui in January 2019.
A lot of winding road trips and tropical forest waved together the best memories ever. Mango peanut butter sandwich woke us up in the morning. Some costumed “pirate ships” played heavy metallic rock&roll shipped all the way toward the beach. Crazy cat lady nagged the story between her and the cats she adopted. She sold the best candied ginger on the island. The sunset lightings created a surreal world. I’m still nourished from those beautiful time fragments. Deja vu whispered that it was my hometown from the previous life.

拉斯维加斯 . Las Vegas
带着七岁的孩子去拉斯维加斯其实和我期待的旅游不太一样。八月的拉斯维加斯非常炎热，好在那些光怪陆离的建筑和连为一体的巨大楼群有充足的冷气，除了酒店动物园里已经因为抑郁开始脱毛的白老虎，我们没有对那个城市有不好的印象。
晚上巨大的摩天轮开始稳定而缓慢的运转，坐在里面看外面的感受可能没有远远的看这只巨大的光环那么美，它匀速的运转可以保证那些喝醉狂欢以求解压的人不呕吐在摩天轮上。孩子对那个城市最多的记忆应该是给孩子玩的吃角子老虎机和冰激淋。对于我来说，这是典型的美国文化，用巨大的资金创造所谓的文化和风格。
再见，拉斯维加斯。
Oh man, don’t ask me why I bring a seven years old to Las Vegas. Good that we all have fun except the Zoo in hotel part. Still remember the bold skin patch on the white tiger-might be from the stress.
It was dry and steaming hot that week. Maika had tons of ice cream.
At night, fairy’s wheel was friendly, slowly and steady moving. So the drunk tourists won’t end up vomiting on it.
